• Who Are You Guys Anyway?

• "[email protected]" is a homegroup of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of the Peninsula, which is affiliated with the Association of Vineyard Churches.

• How many "P"s in ihopppp?

• Officially, 4. However, your milage may vary.

• So Why Do You Call Yourselves ihopppp?

• Each letter in our name has its own special significance. Here is the letter-by-letter rundown:

  • I - International: Though we meet in California, our globehopping brethren and sistren hail from many exotic locales such as Scotland, England, Colombia, Russia, Germany and Michigan.
  • H - House: We meet in a house.
  • O - Of: A useful preposition that makes our acronym more pronouncable.
  • P - Prayer: We value this a lot. Praying for each others' needs and intercessory prayer are all part of the ihopppp experience
  • P - Praise: We worship God through music and praise, and it's an area ihoppppers hope to grow in all the time.
  • P - Phellowship: According to reliable sources, "By this shall the world know that you are my disciples: That you have love one for another". We're working on it!
  • P - Phood: Snacks every single week plus a veritable pheast on the 4th Thursday.

• Is there really a God?

• yes.

• Is there really a top-level domain called ".God"?

• no.

• What is the scoop on meetings?

• We meet each Wednesday night at the Wichmans' house.
  1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays of each month: Adults only, meet at 7:30 p.m.
  4th Wednesday: Family Potluck, meet at 6:30 p.m.
  5th Wednesday (when there is one): Special events, usually men meeting in one place and women meeting elsewhere. See upcoming events for details. Meetings officially last 2 hours.

• What do you DO at these meetings?

• A typical meeting consists of a half hour each of fellowship, discussion, worship, and prayer. At certain meetings we will focus on just one of these areas.

• How do you spell "Pommagranite?"

• pomegranate.

• Are there other VCFP kinships with web pages, or am I stuck with you?

• We know of at least one other local kinship with a web page, but we're the only one with a spoon league.

• Who has found the most spoons?

• If you are not following the latest sports craze, the ihopppp Spoon League, you do not know what you are missing!
